Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Lucky Names collects, why, and how you stay in control. It uses plain English on purpose.
1. On-device data
Your last name and any full-name previews you enter are stored and processed only on your phone. They never leave the device and we cannot see them on our servers.
2. Anonymous usage analytics
We use anonymous product analytics to understand which features are useful, grouped by data category (screen views, feature use, crashes). We may use processors such as PostHog Inc. for this. We do not build personal profiles and we do not sell data.
3. Accounts
Lucky Names works without an account. If we add account features later, an email address or Apple or Google ID would be used only for sync and partner matching, never for advertising.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details.
5. Waitlist emails
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, whether you opted in to product tips, and the time you consented. We use double opt-in, so you must confirm your email before we send anything else. You can unsubscribe from every email at any time.
6. Retention, deletion and your rights
You can email support@luckynames.app to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. We keep waitlist records only as long as needed to run the waitlist and honor your preferences.
7. Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will notify waitlist members by email and update the date below before the change takes effect.
